			Paul Rabinow (21 June 1944 – 6 May 2021) was an American anthropologist, Professor of Anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley, and the leading figure in the anthropology of contemporary science and reason.

			He took his doctorate at the University of Chicago in 1970 with fieldwork in Morocco, and taught at Berkeley from 1978.
