Definition
During 1950s psychologist Solomon Asch conducted a series of experiments to study conformity in groups.
Nearly 75% went along with the rest of a group, even though the consensus was arguably incorrect. [1]
Critics to Asch's conformity experiments cite that individuals chose to confirm not to avoid conflict.
