Definition
Synchronous communication describes the act of communicating with another person in a real-time feedback loop. Unlike asynchronous communication, where one involved parties can carry out text over time by storing messages in external mediums such as E-mail or letters, asynchronous communication can be carried out over long periods of time, through generations, and great distances, or simply over small moments on digital devices.
