===Definition===
A new iPhone app called Snappy Postcards by Gene Ehrbar of Anomaly Inc. changes this by allowing one to take a photo and send it to someone via mail. Grandmother gets an image for the fridge, and no E-mailing, printing, downloading, compressing, stamping, sending, driving is involved. It takes what is already there and compresses the space and time needed to get the data out of the black hole of storage. 

The app is in private beta right now, but I’ve seen the printed postcards and they are very good. http://snappypostcards.com/
