Chris Hables Gray, Ph.D., is a Continuing Lecturer at UC Santa Cruz, the author or editor of five books and has written over 200 articles for academic and popular journals. He was lead editor of The Cyborg Handbook and has written three major books: Postmodern War, Cyborg Citizen, and Peace, War and Computers. He is currently writing about information theory (Infoisms: Aphorisms on Information), evolution, contemporary war, cyborgs, big data, and other issues in the cultural studies of science and technology.
